FAQ

  • How long are your sessions?

I offer 50-minute sessions for individuals and either 50-minute or 75-minute sessions for couples and families. When we start working together, we will discuss the options available and what format best suits your goals.

  • How frequently will we meet?

I require new clients to meet either weekly or every-other-week. I find that clients get the best results when sessions are consistent and regular. As therapy or coaching progresses, we may decide together to meet on a monthly or as-needed basis.

  • Do you take insurance?

I currently accept the Building Hope/Mountain Strong Scholarships as well as the Vail Health EAP. My plan is to be able to take the most common health insurance plans in Colorado and Wyoming. Please contact me to see if I am able to take your insurance. I can also provide superbills for reimbursement if I am an Out-of-Network provider on your plan.

  • How will I know if therapy is working?

The answer here is subjective, meaning you will be the one to determine if therapy or coaching is supporting your goals. Many people report relief from the symptoms which brought them to therapy. I welcome feedback in session about whether you feel we are making progress or if you would like to try a different approach.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy, which means that if I do not hear from you within 48-hours of your appointment time and you do not show up (barring any emergencies) you will still be charged for the session.

  • How does telehealth work?

Telehealth sessions can be conducted over video or phone. For video sessions, I will provide you with a HIPAA-compliant platform. You will need a private space and reliable WiFi connection. If WiFi is unreliable, we can still meet via phone for your session.
